Endless Possibilities

Doubters.  We’ve all been doubted, and we’ve also been the doubters ourselves. In a world full of possibilities, how do we bring our minds to think such negative thoughts?  Whether it’s on the ice or in the real world, we have to always have positive thoughts.  Positivity will push you further than any negative thought.  On the ice this is how we gain our confidence.  It’s the ability to make yourself think in the right mindset when you’re doing something, like learning a new skill, or focusing on enhancing a certain skill.  When I was younger and sometimes even now, I was scared to try new things because I was worried what people would think of me.  One day I decided I wasn’t going to worry.  Don’t let negative vibes lower your confidence.  The people who succeed are the ones who are putting themselves out there.  What I’ve learned is you have to get past the people who bring you down. Surround yourself with the right people, ones that are motivated.  Doing this will only make you more excited to learn new things.  If you don’t have those types of people around you then simply prove to yourself that you can take on anything.  If anything, never doubt yourself cause then your putting yourself in jeopardy from experiencing great things.  Like I said, whether its on the ice, in the gym, in the classroom, or just a hobby you have, make the best of it and great things will come from it. Sometimes we all need the motivation to be great; we just have to find it in ourselves to make it happen.
